Painting commissions

Three levels of finish, from the quickest to the most detailed. A full army due before a tournament does not call for the same work as a single piece headed for a display cabinet, and the price reflects that. You decide where your project sits.

  • Battle Ready: Commission your army, no headaches
  • Tabletop+: Sharpen your army's look
  • Display: Treat yourself to a breathtaking showpiece

Every level is broken down step by step, from preparation to varnish. Enough to see how much work goes into each miniature before you tell me about your project.

Painting lessons

I come to you for a private lesson, one to one or up to four of you. Every level is welcome, from complete beginners to competition painters.

  • The format: sessions of one, three or six hours, shaped around what you want to work on.
  • As a group: the rate drops from two people onwards, and up to four can take part.
  • At your place: travel is free within Paris, expenses beyond it.

Theory first, then I paint the technique in front of you, then it is your turn.

Shop

I also sell miniatures I have painted myself, grouped into lots you can browse in the shop. Each lot goes as it stands, with nothing altered, but I am happy to paint new units in the same scheme to expand it.

FAQ

Every project is different. A large army in a simple scheme brings the cost per model down, while a detailed or Display-level piece takes many more hours with a brush in hand.

Turnaround depends on the scale of the project and on the commissions already booked in. If you have a deadline (an event or a tournament), tell me in your first message and I will confirm what is achievable.

Yes. I can replicate official schemes or custom designs. Send your reference images along with your enquiry.

No, there is no minimum. I would rather take Battle Ready and Tabletop+ work in batches of ten or more, though: painting a set in one go keeps the finish consistent from model to model and the price per miniature sensible. For Display there is no minimum number of models.

I keep leftover sprues and bits for future conversions. If you would rather have them back, say so when you order and they go in the box with your miniatures.

Tell me as soon as you can: a delay or a payment plan can almost always be arranged. I work alone and my storage space is limited, so I cannot hold a finished commission indefinitely. If I hear nothing for about a month after the work is done, I may put the miniatures up for sale to pay my bills. It is a last resort.

About

My name is Antoine. I have been playing wargames for 25 years and continuously refining my painting for the past 15. Over the years, I have built multiple armies and earned awards in both national and international competitions.

These days that experience goes into commission work. A cohesive force ready for the table, a display piece meant to be looked at closely: I paint each miniature to the standard the project calls for. I take the painting off your hands so you can get on with the playing and the collecting.

Competition record

  • 🥈🥉 Silver and bronze at the AFM Montrouge international competition
  • 🎖️ Honourable mention, Master Fantasy category, World Model Expo Versailles
  • 🥇🥈🥉 Gold, silver and bronze at regional shows
